Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Mars Jackson is a multifaceted creative who has hands in a number of different endeavors. He’s a soundtrack director, model, speaker, and voiceover artist—and that’s before we even get into his accomplishments as a hip-hop artist. Jackson is something of a chameleon able to emcee over a variety of production which is why he’s been able to put out records for almost two decades at this point. Collaborations with some of the best artists of our time, landed Press on a bevy of publications and platforms. Jackson has over 20 releases under his belt including features, Mars Jackson isn’t just an East Coast pillar but a Hip-Hop staple and will continue to be so til the end of time. As we head deeper into 2025, Jackson has a plethora of projects in the pipeline including two that are scheduled to be released by year’s end. Before we detail those plans let’s go back and see how Mars Jackson came to be.
Mars Jackson has the talent in his heritage and blood, between his great grandfather, grandmother, his mom, the amount of influence Jackson’s lineage has can’t be understated. Add this to the uncles and mother bringing hip-hop into the picture, Mars Jackson’s destiny in the arts was sealed. Jackson went on to fully immerse himself into the music, playing instruments, freestyling, singing further solidifying his passions and raw talent. Further, Mars Jackson had an interest in arts outside of music. “I feel like I was that kid that was super excited to go to the museum while everybody else didn’t care for the museum as much,” the Pennsylvania standout explains. All of this comes together to present a creative who understands what it takes to simply make something, but also someone who appreciates the arts as a whole and this energy bleeds into everything Mars Jackson is doing today.
Now we’re here in 2025 and Mars Jackson has blossomed into one of the most versatile and diverse creatives walking the Earth. Jackson’s motivation and passion comes from his wanting to assist and help the people listening to his music. “I want people to walk away from my music…feeling amazing,” Mars Jackson explains, “That’s what music has done for me…I want people to feel like they can do anything they put their mind to no matter how big or small it is.” With multiple singles to his name and a debut full-length album ‘Good Days Never Last Forever’ he released in 2018, Mars’ output is calculated yet poignant. Able to create over any type of production with the willingness to create alongside others, separates him from his peers in a landscape that is fueled by ego. It doesn’t stop there though, as Mars Jackson’s creative prowess extends well beyond the creation of music. Our hero has been a publicist, curated installations, volunteered for schools, has done voiceover work, won awards and more etching his place into creative history.
The world is taking notice too, Jackson’s received coverage from Complex and Vice, performed live on WQED, landed a placement in OWN’s Queen Sugar showing or his voiceover work in a national televised Nike commercial, his appeal across a number of mediums, and across all time. To close out 2025, Mars Jackson is on the brink of releasing two brand new projects, one with Nice Rec & DJ Bonics (Wiz Khalifa) and his long-anticipated album ‘Growth Has No Deadline’. Take some time to catch up because when the sun’s out, it’s Mars Jackson time. Don’t get left behind.
